Chapter two

plot summary
Josephine's friends are introduced in this chapter.
Anna Selicic: Slavic-looking girl, long blonde hair, blue eyes, red cheeks, nervous, she is mothered.


Seraphina: brazen, good lier, black roots/blonde hair/teased, skinny/voluptuous, dresses in the latest rock star trends, italian, funny, 


Lee Taylor: alcoholic father, plain/attractive, straight brown/gold hair, freckles on her nose, hazel eyes.


Jacob Coote: brown, shoulder length hair, green eyes, friends think his gorgeous, tanned arms.
Josie has to do a speech on AIDS.


challenges faced by the character
Character has her friends Anna, Sera and Lee that put her into situations she's not sure about
'I had visions of being killed in a horrific car accident (pg.23)'


Introduced to Jacob Coote


Has to deal with Ivy Lloyd (poison Ivy) and Sister Louise. 


Personal response
This chapter shows how Josephine connects with her peers. You see how she acts around her friends and you see how she copes with people such as Jacob Coote or Ivy Lloyd. This chapter is introducing the characters.
